Join your colleagues for a highly memorable and unique event
On Tuesday evening, 21 May, attendees will travel by bus a short 20 minutes away to the beautiful National Monument Palácio de Bolsa for dinner and an evening of networking in the elegant, and culturally treasured, Arabian Room.
Palácio de Bolsa, Portuguese for Stock Exchange Palace, is a historical building that was built in the 19th century by the city's Commercial Association in Neoclassical style. It is located in the Infante D. Henrique Square in the historical centre. Palácio de Bolsa was once part of the St. Francis Convent, founded in the 13th century. In 1832, during the Liberal Wars, a fire destroyed the cloisters of the convent, sparing the church. Most of the palace was finished by 1850 but the decoration of the interior was only completed in 1910 and involved several different artists. It has been classified as a National Monument since 1982.
